Introducing Our Exclusive Acrylic Display: A Piece of History from the 101st Airborne Division's D-Day
History has a profound way of captivating our imagination, transporting us to moments of bravery, sacrifice, and triumph. At Engineered Labs, we believe in preserving these moments and sharing them with the world. Today, we are thrilled to unveil our latest offering: an exclusive acrylic display featuring a genuine piece of parachute used by the legendary 101st Airborne Division during the historic D-Day invasion.
A Glimpse Into History
On June 6, 1944, more than 13,000 American paratroopers dropped into the coastline region of Normandy, France. This section of parachute canopy was used on D-Day by John Seney, 101st Airborne division, a.k.a "Screaming Eagles". During the invasion, the division was scattered miles away from the landing zones due to bad weather and intense enemy ground fire. An estimated 4,500 of the division's 6,928 paratroopers were either killed, wounded, or missing during the battle. Despite the overwhelming odds, they managed to take many of their objectives on D-Day and complete their mission over the next few days.
Authenticity
This is a genuine piece of camouflaged T-5 Parachute canopy used in Normandy, on D-Day, 6 June 1944. It was retained by T-3 John Seney of HQ/2 502 PRCHT INF RGT, 101st Airborne Division.
Some of Seney's D-Day experiences can be found in George Koskimaki's 1st book "D-Day with the Screaming Eagles"

I started 11Bravos back in 2011 as nothing more than a Facebook page with no intent in going into business. The page grew rapidly and gained immediate support from the military community. As the Facebook page continued to grow we decided to launch 11Bravos.com. We are based in Manchester, NH where everything is designed, produced, packaged, and shipped.
I spent 4 years in the US Army and was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment - 10th Mountain Division. During my 4 year enlistment we deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003, and then again in 2004). I ETS'd as an E-5 in January 2006.
My wife and I have 3 kids (3 month old, 2 year old, and 4 year old). We appreciate your support for 11Bravos and hope to gain your loyalty and trust in everything we do.
